During the exam, you should expect to hear humming and thumping sounds. We provide all patients with sound-cancelling ear plugs, and our technologists guide patients through the exam via a microphone.
First sentence ok. Most MRI exams last about 30 minutes. However, some specialized exams can last up to 45 minutes.
